We got our Shop On!

Hello all! I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Life is happening and happening fast! Amen!!!! I can tell the Holiday season is in full swing as I am being pulled in a thousand different directions. Class parties, home cooked treats, shopping, decorating, church activites, etc. I love it, but it can get crazy at times. I suppose just like having a young family. I did get a break from it all last weekend and it was marvelous. My 5 best girlfriends and I headed to Denver, CO for a nice long 4 day weekend. We left on Thursday and all headed back home to our families on Sunday afternoon. We all traveled to the Mile High City to get some serious shopping and eating accompolished. Rhonda came from a suburb near St. Louis, Mo, Sara and Shannon flew in from Nebraska near Omaha, and Misty and Amber drive down from Rapid City, SD. It was absolutely awesome for all 6 of us to be together again. It has been 2 years since we all could make it for a girls weekend. These ladies are my dearest friends for over 15 years now. We have been through thick and thin together...we survived and thrived during our college years at the University of Nebraska, all graduated and headed all across the U.S. to follow our careers, all got married within 2 years of each other, and now all have little ones ranging from 7 to 6 months old. We did take one picture of all of us and our bags after spending a day at the Outlet Mall so I will try to get that uploaded later...our husbands all appreciated receiving that on their phones that weekend! Ha Ha Thank you ladies for a wonderful weekend and thank you to all our fabulous husbands for holding down the fort at home so we could all be together! XOXO
