Last Friday night, we had an old fashioned backyard party just the 5 of us. The kids played outside all night and we had a fire pit dinner. The kids roasted their own hot dogs over the fire and we had smores for dessert. It was a blast just being together. We realize that someday, the kids won't think it is very "cool" to hang out with their parents on a Friday night so we are certainly going to take advantage of it now!

These posts are so sweet! I just love the quality time with family. Those quiet moments at home all together are just the best -- and what fun ideas,a backyard BBQ and a horse farm with carrots for admission $$$ -- perfect!
