Hilary got her permanent cast off on Wednesday. She had another 2 hour doctor appointment and was so brave. The tech took off her hot pink cast with a very loud saw and she did so awesome! The tech fitted her with these really big sound proof headphones and she just smiled during the whole process. Her arm looks great, obviously the skin was pale and there is bruising left at the sites of the breaks, but over all she has made a great recovering. The doctor did fit her for a temporary cast or splint that she must wear for the next couple of weeks. It is just like her hard cast but it is cut down the center and can be removed for bath and bedtime...it just velcros closed. Thank you all for your prayers, e-mails, cards, and gifts. It is such a blessing to have a wonderful family and friendship circle!
