Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's my sweet family and friends. We hope you all had a fun day celebrating with your loved ones. We had a special family dinner that night sandwiched in between Hilary's ballet class and a fashion show Lindsey and her friends put together. For dinner, Lindsey and Dad made a heart shaped homemade pizza for the family. We enjoyed the pizza along with some red strawberries, heart shaped jello jigglers, strawberry pop (soda :)), and Valentines cupcakes for dessert. Nothing like a sugar filled dinner but oh so delicious! That evening Lindsey and her friends put on a fashion show at one of Lindsey's friend's church. The whole theme of the show was to promote how cool modest fashions can be. The girls got to show 4 different categories of clothes including a school outfit, casual outfit, sporting outfit, and formal church outfit. The girls had so much fun doing their first fashion show. The message of the evening was that as a young woman you can be beautifully modest and still be fashionable. Of course, Daddy was loving that message especially since he has been teasing Lindsey for years that her prom dress will include a turtle neck top! Ha Ha The funniest comment of the night was from Danny. As he was making it well know that he thought this fashion show was put on only to torture him he asked, "I can't figure out why all these girls keep changing their clothes!" Ha Ha Welcome to the world of fashion shows Danny:)
