Stepping Stones and Girls Weekend
I went on my annual girls weekend this last weekend. We missed our dear sweet friends Sara, Amber, and Misty so much...we wish you could have been there! You were in our thoughts the whole time and can't wait for you to join us the next time. I flew out on Thursday from Orlando and was fortunate to get a direct flight to St. Louis. My friend Shannon from Nebraska also flew in that day and we stayed all weekend with our dear friend Rhonda who lives just outside St. Louis. We shopped, ate, and talked for 18 hours a day each and every day! We didn't get to bed any night before 2 am. It was so much fun to be together and get caught up. We each have three kiddos all between the ages of 8 and 2. We couldn't wait to get some rest, relaxation, and good old fashion girl time. Thank you Rhonda for hosting...your home is lovely and your food was fabulous. Scott held down the fort here for 4 days and did a phenomenal job. The kids loved having Daddy in charge and they were busy from sun up to sun down. All the kids made stepping stones as a welcome home gift for me. It was so sweet to see how excited they were to give them to me on Sunday night. I didn't get any pictures from our girls weekend...darn! The pictures above are what Scott took of the kids making my presents. Thanks Scott for being the best husband and Dad we could ever ask for! xoxoxo
