Lubee Bat Festival

We have been in town the last two weekends and have been to three festivals! Last weekend we hit the Butterfly Festival at the Museum of Natural History and the kid's school also had a fall festival. This weekend we went to the Lubee Bat Festival. It was such a neat experience. We got to see several species of fruit bats including some bats with a wing span of almost 6 feet! The kids also got to see and hold some other unusual reptiles including a ball phython, breaded dragon, tarantula, and a scorpian. There were also bounce houses and crafts for the kids to enjoy. It has been really fun going to all the festivals in town. The kids certainally have more staminia than us...I think Scott and I need a nap break one of these weekends :)
