Lindsey and Danny closed a very successful school year yesterday as they sadly said goodbye to all their teachers and friends for the summer. This picture is of Danny and his teacher, Ms. Varner during his end of the year ceremony. Lindsey and Danny are now on to 3rd and 1st grade and it is a bittersweet passing. They both had such a fabulous year and grew so much academically and socially. Lindsey and Danny were sad yesterday afternoon but I am sure they will get in the grove of summer real soon! I, on the other hand, was jumping for joy yesterday. No more car pool, school uniforms, socks with tennis schools, early mornings, hours of homework, home lunches to pack, etc... I am tired and ready for the freedoms of summer. Pool, parks, vacations, movies, playdates, library trips, etc...I can't wait. Congratulations Lindsey and Danny on a great school year...Mom and Dad could not be more proud of you both!
