The Minnesota Twins do their Spring Training in Fort Myers so we decided to head to the stadium to watch them practice Monday morning. We watched batting practice first and while the starting short stop, Alexi Casilla, was up he swung and broke his bat. Danny was right by the fence watching him and Casilla turned around and pointed right at Danny and waved him down to where there was an opening in the dug out. Alexi Casilla gave Danny his broken bat complete with pine tar on the handle and his name engraved on the top! I am not sure who was more excited...Danny or Scott. As most of you know, Scott loves the Twins! Scott even got to see Joe Mauer #7 at bat!!!! After the Twins finished practice it was swimming pool time. Scott's parents offered to take the kiddos to the pool for a while while Scott and I hit the outlet mall. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation...thanks Arlan and Linda for letting us share it with you!
