Here are some pictures of the annual pumpkin carving time here at our house. I tried to talk everyone into trying to paint the pumpkins this year instead, but no one was going for that! Lindsey cleaned out her own pumpkin this time so that was fun! The kids saved out the pumpkin seeds and I prepared them and roasted the seeds...they turned out really yummy and they are ultra healthy for you too! Lindsey came up with her own design of a bat complete with cardboard wings and ears. Danny wanted a more tradition jack-o-lantern but with a big mouth. Hilary requested Hello Kitty and my very artistic husband designed his own Hello Kitty face and did a fabulous job. Have a fun and very safe Halloween everyone!
