We decided to treat the kids to a Valentine's weekend getaway to Epcot. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday enjoying exploring Epcot for the first time. It was a blast. I thought Epcot was geared towards older kiddos but I was wrong. There was plenty to do there for Lindsey, Daniel, and Hilary. The highlight for Danny was going on the racing car Test Track ride and the
Soarin ride. Hilary liked the
Nemo ride and Spaceship Earth ride inside the big "golf ball." The best part for Lindsey was talking with Crush at the Turtle Talk with Crush show. Crush picked Lindsey out of the crowd to talk to calling her the turtle with a "pick shell and extra set of ears." (Lindsey was wearing a pink sweatshirt and had her Mickey Mouse ears hat on! HA HA) She was so well spoken in front of the crowd...we were so proud of her. Our highlight of the trip was sharing a beer in Canada while touring the World Showcase part of the park...I don't think a beer ever tasted so good! HA HA
