We met our sweet friends, the Cairney Family, up in Destin this weekend. Doug, Keri, Kate (8) and Ben (5) are our wonderful friends from Iowa. We were in a small group through church with them for several years when we lived in Iowa. This was our first trip to Destin, Fl which is along the Gulf of Mexico along the panhandle. It is an absolutely beautiful area with white sand beaches and beautiful blue water. On Saturday, we hung out at the beach together at the Cairney's resort. The kids had a blast playing in the sand. Later that afternoon we all headed down to the Baytowne Wharf to play at the coolest playground and grabbed some pizza and ice cream for dinner. It was so awesome to see our dear friends...thank you Cairneys for a great visit
