Christmas Eve

We had a blessed Christmas Eve and spent the day just loving being together.  We had hosted at our church service the night before so the kids woke up early Christmas Eve morning ready to open presents.  We normally open presents Christmas Eve night, but we were leaving at noon the next day for Scott's parents home for a few days so we let the kids open their presents early.  They were all really surprised with their presents this year.  Every year we have the children read the story of Jesus' birth from the book of Luke before we open presents.  This year the reading was shared between Daniel and Hilary so that was really special.  I feel like the meaning of Christmas becomes deeper for the kids each year and that is truly a blessing.  Merry Christmas to you all!
