Lindsey just got home from her "best week ever!" So what would make a 10 year old girl utter these words.....summer camp! Not just any camp but Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp about 45 minutes north of Ankeny. Lindsey begged and begged for us to let her go to camp. Lindsey had only been on 1 overnight before (not counting Grandpa and Grandma's house) so Scott and I weren't so sure about 5 nights and 6 days away at camp :) She just would not take no for an answer so Scott and I decided to let our baby go to camp. She had the absolute best time and is already making plans with her friends to go next year for sure. Lindsey knew two sweet girls in her cabin so that just made the week all that much sweeter if you know what I mean. Lindsey grew so much spiritually, emotionally, and gained more independance in that one week than ever before. We will definitely let her go next year...who knows maybe Danny will be game also :)
