We had a fabulous 10 day trip to Iowa at the end of July. We got to see both of our parents (kid's grandparents), our sisters and their families, Zach and Julie, both grandmothers (kid's great grandmothers), and our sweet friends the Cairney Family. We spent half of the time in Ames and the other half in Ossian. First stop...my parents house in Ames. We flew in on Friday and got to stop at the famous Rube's Steak House and pick out our own steaks. We had good old Iowa beef on our first night home and it was so delicious. We hit the Ames Aquatic Center on Saturday with my parents, Zach and Julie, Julie and Nicole, and the Cairney Family. Everyone had a great time and the kids took full advantage of all the waterslides, lazy river, and 3 meter diving board. On Sunday my parents hosted another dinner so we could all get together and visit again :) Monday, we traveled to Iowa Falls and spent the day with my Grandmother Beverly. It was so wonderful to see her. On Tuesday we hit the Ames Aquatic center one last time and went to our favorite place...Hickory Park for lunch. Thank you Mom and John for the fabulous visit. Thank you for hosting so many meals at your house. It was such a relaxing time. Thank you Zach and Julie for driving to come and visit on the weekend. Thank you Cairney Family for sharing your Saturday with us. It was such a blessed time!
