St. Augustine Weekend

The kids were itching to get out of town and frankly Scott and I were too so we hit the road and went to St. Augustine for the weekend. It was a quick trip...just Friday and Saturday as we had to get back into town for Sunday church but we sure had fun. Scott has been wanting to go to the Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine since we moved to Florida (over 3 years ago) and he finally got his chance. We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel right at the Golf Village and it was a beautiful hotel. It is a cool little village with a big pond in the middle, the hotel, the hall of fame, and shops and restaurants surrounding the water. The Golf Hall of Fame was so neat...a definite must see. The kids thought it was pretty cool also and liked the putty areas and the ice cream treat at the end of course! We even got to eat dinner at the Bill Murry Caddy Shack restaurant right next to our hotel. That movie is one of Scott's all time favorites and I would venture to say he could recite all the lines from beginning to end. Enjoy the pictures :)

Another fun adventure -- what is the story behind the burn bridge?
