Danny lost his first tooth on vacation! He was so excited to lose his tooth and it happened at the craziest time of course. One of his bottom teeth had been loose for several weeks. He couldn't stop playing with this tooth and he was so ready for it to come out. It was the last day of vacation and we were getting ready to fly out from the Branson airport to come back home to Florida. We had just made it through the first part of security where they check your boarding passes and photo ids. If any of you have ever flown with small children...you know it can be an adventure of its own just trying to get through security! Danny had said moments before, "Mom, wouldn't it be funny if I lost my tooth right now!" I laughed off that thought and went on to instruct everyone to take off their shoes and put them in the bins and get all our bags on the conveyor belt to go through the x-ray machine. At that very moment Danny pulls out his tooth and is just standing there right at the security check with a bloody tooth in his hand! You had to be there...it was so funny. The security guy was so nice and he got us a zip lock and Danny's tooth got to go through the x-ray machine with all of our other belongings. I would venture to say..that was the first time that has ever happened at least at that airport :) Danny was so proud of his tooth as you can see by his new smile!
