Well, summer has officially been awesome so far! We are loving the freedom from school and got to go on a great vacation up North to see both sets of the kid's grandparents. First up...Branson, Missouri with my side of the family. We traveled from all parts of the country to meet in Branson for one big family get together. Bob and Sam and their three kids came from New Jersey, Ben and his three children came from Oklahoma, Zach and Julie, Mom, John, and Nicole traveled from Iowa. We all stayed at a beautiful resort, Still Waters Resort, right on Table Rock Lake. This resort had it all...three pools, water slide, playground, basketball court, volleyball court, paddle boats, kayaks, boats...you name it and this resort had it! We had a wonderful time together and it was so good to see everyone again. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and we had 10 kids all together ranging from age 2 to 16. We went off the resort a few times to shop, see Cars 2, and even got to spend one whole day at the amusement park in Branson called Silver Dollar City. This was such a fun park...it had several big coasters, some water rides, a big section for kiddie rides, and lots of shows (although we didn't make it to any of those...our kids are coaster lovers). I can't figure out how to make notes under each photo so bear with me and I will try to do my best summarizing each group of pictures.
