Our sweet friend Connie and her daughter invited us to share in a Garden Tea Party this weekend to benefit the non-profit organization Gentle Carousel. This organization focuses on bringing the joy and wonder of miniature horses to help the young and old. As you can see in the pictures, these are very small miniature horses. Gentle Carousel takes these horses to visit nursing homes, ill children, and the organization has a literacy program with the local public libraries in the county. The tea party was so much fun. The girls got their faces painted, got to visit with the horses, and were served "tea" (pink lemonade), little fancy sandwhiches, and yummy desserts. It was a great afternoon with the girls.
