The kids didn't have school last Friday so Scott took the day off and we headed down to Fort Myers, Florida for a Minnesota Twins Spring Training Baseball Game. Think credit card commercial:
Twins baseball tickets...$125
Cracker jacks, cotton candy, and ice cold lemonade...$30
Twins pennant and mini baseball bat....$20
Only getting to see 2 full innings....priceless!!!!!!!
HA HA! The kids were so good for those 2 innings but then they were done and they let us know it! It was 88 degrees with not a cloud in the sky so the kids were hot and tired. It was a 4 hour drive down to Fort Myers and the kids just wanted to get checked into the hotel and go swimming...go figure! Poor Scott...he had been looking forward to watching his favorite team play for months. The price you pay Daddy for trying to share your love of the game with a 5, 4, and almost 2 year old! Go Twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
