A Girls Weekend

My sweet friend from college got to come for a visit last weekend. We had a fantastic time. She has three children Evan, Noah, and Molly all under the age of 6. Her husband so graciously offered to watch all the kids and fly her down to Florida for a little shopping and beach get away. She flew in Thursday afternoon and Scott took Friday off from work to watch our three little sweeties. Rhonda and I took off first thing Friday morning for the beach. We spent all day at Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota. The sand was powder white and the water so blue (and cold! HA HA). We had beautiful sunny weather in the 80's all weekend. We stayed the night in Sarasota and Rhonda treated me to a delicious meal at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The next day we slept in (the first time for me in about 6 years) and then we hit the outlet mall in Ellenton for 9 hours! It was a blast and we found some good deals. It was so great to just relax and have some good old fashion girl talk. It was sad to see her go and hard to get back to reality on Monday morning. Thanks Rhonda for an awesome visit and let's do again real soon! Is next weekend to soon? HA HA
