Lindsey is in PowerLife this year through our church. PowerLife is for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and at the end of 8th grade the kids will get confirmed. I am one of the PowerLife leaders and we have a great group of 6th grade girls this year. It has been so awesome to go through this faith journey with Lindsey. We meet every Wednesday night and PowerLife runs the whole school year so it is a big commitment for these kids. In December we participated in our first service project together. We made tie blankets to be donated to our local children's hospital (Blank Children's Hospital). It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning and it was also a great bonding time for the girls.
