We traveled up Trail Ridge Road which allows you to hike up to the highest point of over 12,000 feet. Needless the say...the air was pretty thin up there! It was well worth the hike as the views were absolutely spectacular. We also got to stand along the Continental Divide where the waters part between flowing to the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. We saw lots of animals on our hikes which the kids loved trying to get pictures of. Lindsey, Danny, and Hilary also became Junior Rangers on our trip and even have the badges to prove it. You better not litter or feed the forest animals around them!
We had a great summer vacation and had so many new adventures...can't wait for the next trip together!
