A Trip to Minnesota with the Grandma & Grandpa Paulson and the Klaessy Family

In early June, we took a trip up to Minnesota with Scott's parents and his sister's family.  It was a blessed weekend with a wonderful memorial service for Scott's grandmother, Lois, at her home church in Lakeland, Mn.  Lois had passed away in January and she had a memorial service in Ossian at that time as well.  It was very special to be able to celebrate her life again with another service at her church and to be able to spread her ashes in the memorial garden there.  Lois was such a super lady and loved life to the fullest...it was great to hear so many stories about her and to hear just how much she meant to everyone.  Keeping with the theme of celebrating her life and how important family is...we all decided to surround that weekend with a little fun as well.  We all hit the Mall of America including a special lunch at the American Girl store for the girls, had fun in the hotel pool, and even got to go to a Minnesota Twins baseball game.  Sara (Scott's sister) made reservations at the American Girl Restaurant so all the ladies got to enjoy a delicous meal!  Linda (Scott's mom) surprised the girls and got them their very own look a like American Girl doll for an early Christmas present.  My girls were so excited...they could barely believe it!  They have had so much fun with those dolls and they hardly ever leave their side.  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the early Christmas presents!
