Oh yes...hold onto your hats...the Paulon's are now pet owners! The kids finally wore us down. After begging for a pet multiple times a day for several years Scott and I finally broke. We could hold out no longer! Ha Ha We were supposed to spend an awesome weekend with three of my best friends from college and all their families in Nebraska this past weekend. The weather forecast was so bad that we decided to cancel at the last minute. We were all so sad! We were so looking forward to all getting together...boo :( The kids were very disappointed so Scott and I decided to help cheer them up and we headed out to a movie and then to Pet Smart...the kid's favorite store. We saw The Croods (which I would highly recommend) and then that's when we were strong armed into buying a fish. We could resist those sad eyes no longer and we took the leap into pet ownership. We bought the kids a betta fish and the kids named him Belt (a cute character from The Croods). Ok...I admit he is really cute and I might not mind cleaning his bowl once a week...will I?????
