We were so blessed to have Mom and John come and visit for Christmas. We had such a fabulous visit and the time went so fast! We fit a ton of fun into the 9 days they were here. Lindsey has wanted a room makeover for over a year now and we decided to finally give her her wish for Christmas. Mom and I painted her room purple and it turned out so good! Although it took almost 3 coats of paint, 3 gals of paint (the first gal was a terrible shade), and literally all day we just had the best time doing it together. Thanks Mom for all your hard work on Lindsey's room. Scott and I also got the kid's swing set stained while my folks played with the kids. We have been meaning to do that project for a while now and it finally got done :) We hit about every park in the Gainesville city limits, played a lot of Wii (Danny and G-Pa), played board games, baked, and we even took a day trip to Cedar Key to spend some time by the Gulf of Mexico:) We celebrated Christmas Eve with a great church service together and opened most of our presents that afternoon (it was so hard to wait :) On Christmas Day, John's sister Ronaele and her husband Lincoln, traveled to Gainesville to spend the afternoon with us. We had a great visit with them. Thanks for the delicious deserts Ronaele! Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us Mom and John...we had a wonderful time and made some awesome memories together xoxo
