We were so blessed to have my parents, John and Janine, visit for Christmas this year. They arrived Thursday night and were able to stay until Tuesday. We had an awesome time together. On Friday, we had beautiful weather so we took the kids to the park and had fun playing outside and getting some fresh air. That evening, we went to Christmas Eve church service together which was lovely. After we got home, the kids just couldn't wait for presents any longer so we tore into them! We opened all the presents from us and my parents on Friday night. The children left cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. The next morning the kids awoke to filled stockings and a special present for each of them under the tree. It was so much fun to have my parents here to join in all of our traditions. What a blessed time of year this is to be together with family.
