Girls Weekend in Sarasota

My best friends from college and I were able to get away for a nice long weekend in Sarasota, FL. It was awesome! The weekend could only have been better if our sweet friends Amber and Misty could have joined us. They both have had little ones in the last 6 months and live in Rapid City, SD. We missed you girls terribly and can't wait to see you soon. Rhonda from Missouri and Sara and Shannon from Nebraska were able to fly to Florida for a beach, shopping, and lazy filled 4 day vacation. The only picture I got of Shannon was at the beach and she threatened me to not put that on the blog so I thought I better listen to her. Love you Shan! The girls flew into Orlando on Friday and we drove straight to Sarasota. We spent hours and hours at the outlet mall in Ellenton and hit Siesta Key beach all day on Saturday. We enjoyed some awesome food at Marina Jacks and Phillipi Creek in Sarasota and ate seafood every night. We all were so relaxed and enjoyed the break from any sort of schedule. We literally ate dinner one night at 10:00 pm and stayed up the first night talking until 3:30 am. Thank you to all our wonderful husbands for taking care of all the kids and doing such a fabulous job. We hardly got any calls asking us where the diapers were kept or what time someone had to get to school! HA HA Thank you ladies for the awesome memories and great get away. (Just so you readers don't think I have it too easy...within 2 hours of me getting home on Monday Lindsey got sick with a terrible stomach bug and spent all night Monday night vomiting. She has been home sick the last two days from school and Scott has been gone the last two nights to South Carolina for work. Welcome back to reality Mommy! Ha Ha)
