Last week was our kid's spring break...and what a break it was! We spent Monday and Tuesday in Gainesville and went to the pool for several hours each day. Our neighborhood pool is now open and heated so the kids and I lived there for two days enjoying the lack of any sort of schedule. On Wednesday we packed the van up and headed down to Naples, FL. Scott and I had never been south of Fort Meyers so it was really exciting to explore a new city. We hit Lowdermilk Beach in Naples on Thursday and had such a relaxing day playing in the water and the sand with the kids. The kids had fun looking for shells, building castles, and going out in the Gulf with Dad. That night we hit Snooks Inn on Marco Island for dinner outside and then we all crashed after a long day out in the sun. On Friday we spent a few hours exploring the Naples Zoo. We got to see an alligator feeding, zebras, panthers and all sorts of cool animals. Friday night we drove to Orlando and stayed at one of the Disney resorts and tried to get some rest before going to Epcot on Saturday. Who knew going on vacation with the kids could be so exhausting! HA HA
