We had a wonderful visit with Scott's parents, Arlan and Linda, last week. The kids had so much fun with their Grandpa and Grandma Paulson. They flew in last Tuesday and just missed a major blizzard that hit Iowa later that same day. On Wednesday Scott and his parents got to play a round of golf which was fun for them. On Wednesday afternoon we celebrated Christmas early and let the kids open their presents from Grandpa and Grandma and the Klaessy family. Of course the kids couldn't wait to ripe that wrapping paper off and play with all their new toys. Thank you so much for the great gifts! On Thursday we headed down to Orlando and spent the night at the Pop Movies Resort on Disney property. We hit Downtown Disney first, ate lunch at the T-Rex restaurant, and then did a little shopping. Next we played a round of mini golf at Mickey's Summertime/Wintertime golf course. The kids had fun running from one hole to the next and especially enjoyed the water squirting snowman! That evening we had tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Arlan and Linda loved going on the rides with the kids, everyone enjoyed the hot chocolate and cookies, and only the adults stayed awake long enough for the parade! The next day we hit Seaworld and took Arlan and Linda to our two favorite shows...Shamu Believe and Blue Horizon. Seaworld was not busy at all and we had a relaxing fun day.
