My mom got to come for a visit last week. We had an awesome time together. The kids were pumped to have Grandma "big kid" sit them while Scott and I went away for an overnight. My mom was so sweet to watch the kids for us while Scott and I had two full days away at our favorite destination...Sarasota, FL. I haven't been that relaxed in 6 1/2 years! Scott and I got to spend hours at our favorite beach...Siesta Beach, watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico, and have a steak and
lobster dinner at Marina Jacks a fancy restaurant overlooking the water. Thanks Mom for the awesome gift of a date weekend. While we were gone Mom took the children to the swimming pool twice, treated them to breakfast at
McDonalds, took them shopping at Toys R Us, and treated them each to a Build A Bear at the mall. The pictures above are of the new Build A Bears that are now their beloved stuffed animals. It was such a wonderful visit. Thanks Mom for the blessed memories!

How wonderful that you had this quality time together! A weekend at the beach - I would take that today - it's rainy and 40's here - YUCK!! It is so great when Grandparents are doing the "kid sitting" Talk about being completely at ease and able to relax and enjoy yourselves! You deserve it......
