Scott had Friday off of work to celebrate the 4th of July so we decided to take the kids to the beach. We left town early in the morning and drove to our new favorite destination...Sarasota, Florida. It is such a fun town and the beaches there are fantastic. It was the most relaxing time at the beach with the kids that we have ever had. That night we drove to Ana Maria Island and had dinner at the BeachHouse over looking the Gulf of Mexico. The next day we hit the pool at the hotel, took in a round of miniature golf, and did a little outlet shopping. We got back to Gainesville just in time to catch all the fireworks in the neighboorhood (pretty much anything is legal down here!). What a great 4th of July!

Wish we were there!! The pictures are beautiful and looks like fun. We wish more than just sparlers, smoke bombs, and snakes were legal in IOWA.
