The day after Christmas we headed to
Sarasota, Florida. It was a beautiful weekend in the 80's. We got to spend all day Friday at Siesta Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The water was so clear and blue and the sand was powder white. It was a beautiful beach and the kids had a blast building sand castles, wading in the water, and finding sea shells. The next day we got to visit the Mote Aquarium. We saw huge sea turtles, manatees, dolphins, sharks, and Scott even got to touch a sting ray. What a great family vacation!

I just love these photos Stephanie, especially the way that Lindsey has her arms crossed as Scott is enjoying his time with the Sting Ray's (-: she could be thinking " come on dad" aren't we ready to go yet??
It looks very fun there.
